Shoddy manufacturing and damaged merchandise

My chairs arrived in boxes that were damaged and partially open. One chair had a split seat support ( very important ) a completely broken front board just under the seat part necessary hardware missing and scratched and stained. Not at all what I expected for this price even if they were on sale. Cannot send them back because when I opened the boxes they were taped in so many places no way I could fit them back into the same damaged boxes. Not the quality I expected either. Very thin particle board. When I got them assembled I was almost afraid to sit in them. I guess they are okay if you use them inside and for looks only. Love to talk to the seller but the customer service # on my instructions has limited hours and a very long wait if you get through.



Maybe my expectations were too high or maybe I am just a sceptical consumer who should have already learned a lesson when it comes to e-mail ordering of hard line merchandise. SEE IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT is my new rule.

This is a great chair for the price. I bought 2 to replace old poly resin ones. I was worried that the shipping weight was listed at 10 poundsbut that was a typo. it was closer to 50 pounds each. they are easy to assemble (first one took about 15 minutes). they seem really sturdy for the price. maybe not as good as all those pricey ones but heck even at full price I think it's a good deal. highly recommend. in fact as soon as I got the first one together I ordered 2 moreMore detail ...

Not a solid product -- will break

I ordered two of these chairs. The first one arrived with one wood piece in the ottoman not attached. The screw simply pulled out of the wood. The second chair arrived with one of the back wood pieces snapped in two. I returned this one and asked for a replacement. The replacement showed up with more pre-assembled pieces with the screws pulled out of the wood. I got a refund for this second chair. The wood is very cheap and cannot properly stay screwed together. The one chair I did keep is comfortable but the wood creaks each time I sit in it. I am expecting it to collapse. I would not recommend anyone over 150 lbs to sit in this.
